Fab Red Head

Its been a long and gray 10-12 weeks since my last color. In my head I'm a fab red head, and finally its not just going to be in my head but on my head! lol. One of my besties BB, as I call him, Brian is his birth name.. Just finished school, but has been working on me the whole time he went, But HE IS AMAZING in color! And thank God, cause my older friends have been teasing me about my grays! So I'm sitting in my kitchen right now and getting Glammed up!!! Oh yeah!

To becoming my FAB red head self as I think I am. BB does a full partial of L'Oreal HiColor HiLight RED hilights, the single process on top is Ion Dark Intense Red Blonde 6IR-66.66, ... and then finally, we do a single process Ion Jet Black underneath! Oh yeah baby!

For like a week I have to cover my pillows with a towel, make sure my hair is dry or up before I put a shirt on and not wear white! lol. Washing it look like someone was murdered in my shower!

My little Intro ....

Hi! My name is Gwen Lee. I'm 33 years old. I been with my husband for 8 1/2 years and married now for 3 of them. We just had our first child, a boy, Aug of 2010, he is 1 years old and the greatest thing I've ever done, and have experienced in my life. It's the one thing I knew I was meant to be in this world.... A Mommy! He truly has made my world brighter! 


As for make-up, I've always loved it. Was never really "pro" at it. But since I was a teen I've always used at least eye liner, mascara & lip stick and some shadows. I've used cover up or foundation a few times but i was very young, and I HATED the way it felt on my face. I still do. And for Blush I just either could never get it right and my face would always be a color that was not .... "glam"/ put together. 


As I've become a adult, I definitely got into shadows more. And more so with in the past 5-7 years. My Aunt Kim sells Avon, so I have quite a few palettes and I had some of their minerals. But all I did a lot was just blend aloft of the colors together,  just enough to get my eyes to "pop" a little more. And I've never had any "skill" that some of my girlfriends have, or know any tricks. Not to mention I'm scared of certain colors. (which i still am but learning how to use them)


Then my one of my Besties Maya showed me a site she had brought from with some awesome minerals, and then another and another... lol and PRIMER! (How did I go all these years with out PRIMER or knowing what it was for make-up! ugh I LOVE primer!) And then Maya turned me on to  a blogger named Charlie =) And my passion has Blossomed!  I've always been a hands on learner, just show me once maybe twice and I got it! But still have to practice a lot at what ever it is. So other bloggers I've watched on YouTube and "liked" other fb pages... has made me into a tab bit of a make-up Junkie. 


I cant believe how AMAZING some of these INDY companies are! I have not been able to buy from some of the ones I want to try...not YET anyway. But I do already have a few favorites! ;)


So this is my little intro & first Blog! As I write more the window will keep opening to who I am and what I'm about and of course my likes and dislikes!
